The Thach Family

We've known the Thach's for a long time, and we've watched their family grow along with ours. This whole journey of raising a family has been surreal, and the Thach's have always been there for every kid's birthday and baby shower. We absolutely adore them, and their kids are simply the cutest. They recently welcomed their third child to this world, Lydon. We wanted a nice and intimate session, so what better way than to do it at their home. We are so happy with the way these turned out, and how they capture the love they have for each other.

Cherise's Pieces - an Etsy Shop

My sister Cherise owns an Etsy shop that sells handcrafted jewelry pieces, appropriately titled Cherises Pieces. She will be selling at the upcoming shopping event UniqueLA in Los Angeles, so she felt a photoshoot to showcase her latest creations would be a great way to create some buzz for the event. We all met up with her good friend Jenna, and headed out to find a beautiful field and gorgeous light. WE FOUND IT. According to Jenna, she's never modeled before. She's either a natural, or a great liar ;-)

Jenna's boyfriend Josh also came. We didn't plan a couple's session, but we just couldn't resist and asked him to step in for some shots. We just love the way their outfits contrast one another, and how their love makes it through to the camera effortlessly. Thank you Josh for being a good sport!

The Morales Family - Grandparents + Kids + Grandkids

This is our first time doing a family session that spans three generations.  We loved the idea of spending time with an entire family including grandparents, their kids, and their grandkids.  You can tell from the pictures that each smaller family has their own dynamic and chemistry, but altogether they are one big unit held together by grandma and grandpa.  Naturally we loved watching the kids be kids, but even better we loved watching and capturing each family interact and be themselves.

This was all shot at Old Poway Park in Poway, CA.  This is one of our favorite parks to visit, as it revolves around their fully working railroad and trains.
