Tiaras, Tutus, and Tiana's Tea Party

A couple of months ago we had the opportunity to capture our friend's daughter's 4th birthday. I was super excited to shoot this event because it was a super cute and super girly couture tea party. The party was thrown by Lollipops and Polkadots, a children's boutique in Yorba Linda.

Tiana and her friends were given a closet full of dress up clothes to make any little girl's eyes light up! I mean, how adorable are these tutus and tiaras, right?!

After the girls put their tutus, tiaras, and feather boas on they were were ready to get even more glammed up. They got their nails polished, make-up done, and faces painted. Complete royal treatment!

Once all the girls were ready, the Tea Party began. The details for this party were so amazing. I'm not really a girly-girl but I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved the girly-ness of everything!

After the girls filled their bellies full of pink tea (pink lemonade) and butterfly shaped sandwiches, jars of sparkly beads were brought out for the girls to string bracelets.

Lollipops and Polkadots seriously knows how to throw a birthday party. This party was all about the birthday girl and her posse getting glammed up to the fullest, something that I am totally for. This birthday reminded me that every girl should bring out her inner-princess by dressing up and allowing herself to get pampered every now and then, especially on her birthday.

And, even if you can't find that perfect feather boa, you can still strut your stuff.
