Birthday Bootcamp @ The OC Mart Mix

A couple of weekends ago we had the pleasure of taking part in Birthday Bootcamp.  We were there photographing the event as well as speaking to guests about how to take better birthday photos with any camera.

What is Birthday Bootcamp you ask?  Birthday Bootcamp is a fun filled day of workshops on how to host/plan/craft/style/organize a better birthday party.  It was hosted by Wendy Navarro of Saige Nicole's Baby and Toddler Boutique and Eva Chiou of The Pantry.  And it was coordinated by Nicole of Lemonade Events. Clothing from Saige Nicole's Baby and Toddler Boutique were paired with sytled treat tables for attendees to enjoy.

Milk & Cookies Table.  How cute is that red tulle dress?!  Too bad we only have boys or I'd be all over that

Melanie from Sensitive Sweets and her vegan cupcakes

And here's Desi talking about "How did I get that shot?"

Sara from Haute Body Couture Face and Body Painting was onsite doing some amazing face painting. She is super talented and works very quickly, which is great because kids can't stay still for too long.

In between workshops attendees were able to walk around and get inspiration and ideas from all the details, outfits and samples that were provided by all the local Orange County vendors

In the end, everyone who participated and attended Birthday Bootcamp learned something new about throwing amazing birthday parties.  Whether it is for your child or your best friend, putting in that extra effort to make the day more special for someone is important.  Something as simple as a birthday hat like the one in the picture below can truly make a memorable impression.  Thanks to everyone who helped make this event happen!  We had so much fun!
