This past Saturday we were invited to attend the first day of Knott's Berry Bloom at Knott's Berry Farm. The event runs from March 23rd through April 7th. The launch event was called Spring Fling, a social media event where bloggers, photographers, and influencers were invited to experience all the Springtime festivities. As you can see from our past experiences (here and here), there is no shortage of things to photograph at Knott's. We are always thrilled to attend and provide our point of view to show off everything the park has to offer.
We kicked the day off with some wine tasting! One of the coolest features of Knott's Berry Bloom is the Wine Garden where several wineries come to show off their best wines. We tasted over a dozen different wines from 7 different wineries, and we didn't even get to taste everything! They also paired each wine with small bites of food varying from tapenade to caprese skewers. The entire experience was amazing, and we spent a huge chunk of our day here.
The always gracious Joel Tanner and Lala Castro from the Gigasavvy team!
The highlight of the wines was definitely the Malbec from Layer Cake Winery. Many people, including me, went back for seconds!
After our wine endeavor, we decided to walk around in search of barbecue.
FOUND IT! The ribs here are SO FRIGGIN GOOD! And the roasted corn!
On the boardwalk area, they had life sized board games like connect four, dominoes, and checkers!
On our way out we stopped by the Ghost Town Candy store to stock up on some fudge and cotton candy.
The best thing about Knott's...the people. They all work very hard in keeping the tradition of Knott's alive. The characters are seemingly stuck in time, as intended I'm sure.
A big thanks to Knott's Berry Farm for inviting us. We always have a great time at Knott's!
