We've never really understood why so many people get married in Hawaii, until now. The last time either of us were in Hawaii we were too young to remember, so naturally we didn't know what to expect. We were thinking it would just be like any other wedding, but with palm trees, ocean views, and tropical weather. We were SO wrong.
We spent about 4 days wandering around the island of Oahu before Cheryl and Jason's wedding, and started to finally understand everyone's attraction to this place. It's the people, the landscapes, the air, the food, the attitudes, the sky, the sand, the EVERYTHING. Why WOULDN'T anyone get married here? We have a feeling Cheryl and Jason chose this place not only for themselves, but for the select handful of guests they invited to their wedding. They must have wanted their friends and family to experience Hawaii the right way, and they would be there to help guide everyone.
This sums up Cheryl and Jason. Two people in love who care so much for their friends and family that they tend to put them first before themselves. We know that just looking through these pictures makes us incredibly happy, and replaying that day in our heads brings back so many emotions. We are thankful for having them as our family, for allowing us to document their wedding, and for allowing us to truly experience Hawaii. Thanks to them, we are planning to visit the islands at least once a year. We really have fallen head-over-heels in love with this place.
